How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I've never set up at a comic show, let alone a Wizard one, but I'm seriously considering this one.

I've attended the show a few years ago and it was pretty crazy. The tables are $300 which isn't a huge deal considering I won't have the overhead of needing a hotel room or extreme travel.

Can anyone help sway me one way or another? What can I expect? Based on my portfolio here I obviously don't do a lot of comic art, but would someone with my style of work do ok? I'm always afraid to do prints due to copyright issues, but I've heard many people say if you don't overdo it it's no big deal. Just don't want to piss off the big boys, ya know?

There are people who go to the shows to commission original art of their favorite characters and others that just want to buy prints. So if you decide to set up, make sure you have an assortment of prints available to sell and make up a sign that says commissions available. Definitely bring your sketch cards with you but keep in mind that most people are looking for artwork that's 8x10 or larger.
In the end, you never know until you try.
