At least to begin. I've been working on a few projects that are either past due or due soon. I really underestimated how much free time I would have to draw with the little one around. I find myself contemplating "Should I get to work or hold my daughter for a while?" Guess which choice ALWAYS wins?

Going forward I'll definitely be pacing myself better, and won't take on anything that I don't have a god amount of time to complete. Doing anything complex with a less-than-30-day turnaround just isn't gonna happen. I hate turning down work because I really enjoy drawing, but I'll be concentrating more on personal commissions and family time. I'll still be doing official stuff, for sure, but maybe at a more low-key level. I say that now, but then I'll get a notice for another Star Wars gig....
Why can't art be easy?
